WOULD YOU LIKE A LITTLE BIT OF HELP AND COMPANIONSHIP?

Do you find yourself wishing you could have someone to help you with all those little tasks that are becoming harder to achieve? Would you like someone to pop in regularly to check you're ok. A friendly face to have a chat with over a cup of tea?
Let us help you.
We are reliable, trustworthy and understand the frustrations of getting older. Laughter and engagement is what we do best. We can brighten your day and help eliminate the boredom.
Let us take you out for the day or just for tea. Brighten your week with a visit to the beach, the shops or to a place of interest.
We are happy to discuss all wishes and turn them into a reality.
WHY CHOOSE COMPANIONSHIP?
Because you're not ready for a care home or full time carer.
If you are still able and independent and want to stay at home with just a little bit of support, companionship is for you. We can provide as much or as little assistance as you want. As we get older some of those household tasks we used to do are getting a little harder. Cleaning the bath or shower, takes a little more effort. Gardening causes all sorts of aches and pains. Cooking is a chore. With the help of a companion we can tackle the jobs together. Or you can watch with a nice cup of tea while we complete the task for you!
People want to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. Many are not ready to move into care homes or assisted living just yet. Choosing companionship allows you to do just that.
Companionship enriches our lives in countless ways. It fosters a sense of belonging and support, making life's easier to navigate. Companionship encourages personal growth and shared experiences, allowing us to create lasting memories. Ultimately, it enhances our overall well-being, reminding us that we are not alone on our journey.
HOW DID I GET HERE?
One day you look up and realise the world moved on and left you behind. Suddenly all those friends are no longer with you. Family don't visit as often. Finding the motivation to do things isn't there and you feel lost and alone, frightened and unsure. Your confidence has taken a nose dive and you're lonely.
We retire, children move away to start busy lives of their own, friends get ill or move closer to family, partners may die or become ill. This can be the reality of getting older.
You realise this is not for you and you need to ask for help.
Having a companion is essential for our emotional and mental wellbeing. It provides support, reassurance, friendship and trust. It provides someone to share our experiences and feelings with. They can share in your highs and lows, challenge you to face your fears and encourage you to 'get out there' and try.
A companion is someone to rely on, someone to ask for help, someone who you can trust but most of all someone to brighten your day.
You can ask your companion to support you with anything you need:
-
Shopping

-
Tea and a chat
-

-
Preparation of meals
-
