We can provide that 'Little Extra Support' to keep these wonderful people in their own homes. We are a companionship service that offer's all types of help and support to those clients who otherwise may struggle.
HOW CAN WE HELP?
​We are offering a bespoke 100% focused companionship service to clients in need of a little extra support and friendship. We don't want them to feel like a number or inconvenience. Our aim is to provide a top quality, confidential service to encourage clients to venture out, re-engage in simple tasks, meet old or new friends but overall enjoy the company and friendship that we offer.
We have experience of working within the care sector as well as supporting our own family members through the joys of getting older and acknowledge the frustrations they come up against.
We are looking to assist those clients who are not ready to go into care but who are struggling to accomplish the everyday tasks that can become overwhelming. Those clients who don't see a friendly face throughout the week, who's families may struggle to drop by. Maybe they have had their driving license taken away and are finding getting out and about stressful.

Our approach is to support clients in anyway that would be helpful for them. We aim to meet their needs and requests whilst being professional and empathetic. We don't want to 'do it for them' but motivate them to do it themselves with a little bit of encouragement. Sometimes, even the simplest of tasks can be overwhelming but with a friendly face supporting them they may find the confidence to try.
We offer to support with any requirements except personal care and administration of medicines.
Happy Place Companions is fully insured with public liability insurance and business car insurance.
We have certificates in Care and First Aid as well as numerous CPD certificates through working in the care industry.
